Our Mission Statement
St. Luke's celebrates and preaches the Incarnation.
Jesus Christ is Emmanuel 'God with us'. It is this
faith in Christ, God made man, crucified and risen
and alive today, that lies at the heart of our Parish life.
A historic faith but one which is informed by a
twenty first century world view
.
The parish is firmed rooted in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England and has been since the parish was formed nearly 100 years ago. It is animated, nourished and sustained by the sacraments, the scriptures and the living traditions of the church by prayer and the liturgy. St. Luke's is a Forward in Faith parish under the Episcopal care of The Bishop of Fulham, having passed resolutions A,B ,C
St. Luke's is without a Parish Priest at this time and in the care of the Rural Dean, awaiting the results of the deliberations of the Pastoral Committee looking at the whole spectrum of manpower and buildings in the Deanery.
Please pray for this parish and people, that it may continue to teach and preach the true faith handed down from the Apostles in this part of the Medway Towns
